Caecilian Hall

Caecilian Hall is known for its elegant interior and original woodwork. Each room in Caecilian Hall is unique. A variety of single and double rooms are available. Each floor has about 25 residents, providing a smaller community.

Located on the edge of the quad, Caecilian is close to the Visual Arts building, performing arts in The O'Shaughnessy and Music Building, and the science departments in Mendel. The fitness facilities of Butler Center and the student center, Coeur de Catherine, are just a short walk across the quad.

History

Caecilian Hall opened in 1921 and originally served as the music building, complete with practice rooms, faculty studios, and a recital hall. The building was remodeled in 1982 for its current use as a residence hall.

²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ Mary Hall

²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ Mary Hall is the largest residence hall on campus with mostly double rooms.

The building is conveniently located a short walk from Coeur de Catherine, the student center, as well as the library. The fitness facilities at the Butler Center are just across the street.

History

²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ Mary Hall was dedicated in 1961. The building was financed with a $1 million National Defense Loan and was completed one year after groundbreaking. The Early Childhood Center moved into the lower level of the building in 1990.

Alberta and Georgia Apartments

Alberta and Georgia apartments feature single bedrooms, kitchens, 1-2 bathrooms, and spacious living areas. Recent updates include remodeled bathrooms, new flooring and carpeting, fresh paint, updated window coverings, plumbing upgrades, and more.

These apartments combine the excellent amenities and conveniences of on-campus living with the privacy and independence that students desire. Alberta and Georgia also offer Family Housing options for students with children and/or married students.

The apartments are both fully and partially furnished, with the furnishings varying between units. A detailed list of the furniture provided in each apartment can be found on the My Housing student portal.

Amenities and Services:

  • The Free laundry facilities on the 2nd and 3rd floor, including a laundry room use and cycle tracking app.
  • Printing station (paper provided).
  • Housing during University break periods at no additional cost.
  • Air conditioning and heat are controlled within each unit.
  • Free community events and programs tailored to apartment residents.

  • 1-Bedroom
  • 2-Bedroom, 1-Bath
  • 2-Bedroom, 2-Bath

Morrison Hall

Morrison Hall features shared, apartment and suite style units. The building is across from Coeur de Catherine, the Library, and the Dining Room, making it very convenient to access campus resources. Overnight parking is available next to the Rauenhorst and Morrison complex.

Amenities and Services:

  • Free laundry facilities on each floor, including a laundry room use and cycle tracking app.
  • Printing station (paper provided).
  • Housing during University break periods at no additional cost.
  • Air-Conditioning and heat controlled within each unit.
  • Two full community kitchens in the building.
  • Free community events and programs tailored to apartment residents.

Types of Units:

Suites | 4-Single rooms with shared living room, kitchenette, and bathroom

  • Suite kitchenettes include microwave, sink, countertop, cabinets, and small refrigerator.
  • The unique bathroom set up allows for ultimate privacy and convenience with lots of storage space. Check out the diagram below.

Apartments | 4-Single rooms with shared living room, full kitchen, and bathroom

  • Apartment kitchens include oven, stove, microwave, full refrigerator, sink, countertop and island, and lots of cabinets
  • There are two bathrooms in these 4-bedroom apartments. So, students share a bathroom with one other student.

The suites and apartments are furnished. A list of furniture is available on the My Housing portal.

Rauenhorst Hall

Rauenhorst Hall features shared, suite style units. The building is across from Coeur de Catherine, the Library, and the Dining Room, making it very convenient to access campus resources. Overnight parking is available next to the Rauenhorst and Morrison complex.

2-Single rooms and 1-Double room with shared living room, kitchenette, and bathroom

  • Suite kitchenettes include microwave, sink, countertop, cabinets, and small refrigerator.
